Who this covers

This policy covers the Chrome extension called Relay Image Saver, published by Abdelhay Bel under the name MyPublishingHub. It does not cover ChatGPT, OpenAI, Google, or any other site or service you may use alongside it.

What the extension reads

When you press Scan, press the keyboard shortcut, or use the right click item, the extension looks at the ChatGPT page you have open and reads two things:

• The web addresses of the images already displayed on that page.
• The short caption beside each image, which is usually the first line of the prompt that made it, so files can be given useful names.

It does not read your password, your cookies, your session token, your account details, or the text of your conversations beyond that one caption line. It runs only on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com, and it has no permission to see any other website.

What the extension sends

Nothing to us, and nothing to anyone else. The extension makes network requests for one reason only: to fetch the image files that were already on your page, so they can be saved or packed into a ZIP. Those requests go to OpenAI's own image domains and are sent with no cookies and no login attached. There is no other network traffic of any kind.

What the extension stores, and where

Three things are kept in your browser's own local storage, on your computer:

None of this is uploaded, synced to another device, shared, or seen by anyone but you. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.

What is never done

• Your data is never sold or transferred to anyone.
• Your data is never used for advertising, profiling or retargeting.
• Your data is never used for anything unrelated to saving your pictures.
• Your data is never used to judge creditworthiness or for lending.
• No human being reads your data, because none of it ever leaves your computer.

How the extension protects you

• Folder and file names you type are cleaned, so a name can never point outside your Downloads folder.
• Only secure addresses on OpenAI's own domains are ever fetched or downloaded. An address that redirects away from them is dropped.
• Image requests are sent without cookies or login details.
• Only a file the extension built itself can be written to disk.
• A job can only be started from the extension's own window. Nothing running inside a web page, and no other extension, can start, stop or change one.
• The extension runs under a strict content security policy. It contains no remote code, no inline scripts and no inline styles, and it never downloads code.

Children

This extension is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If the way the extension handles data ever changes, this page is updated before the change ships, and the date at the top changes with it. If a change ever meant data leaving your computer, you would be told in the extension itself and asked first.
